Poor little gingerbread house. Owen and I spent 2 fun days putting together our gingerbread house kit. He did a great job decorating it with me. About a week later, after the rains hit LA, the ants decided it was too wet outside and moved in to the gingerbread house. So, I was forced to put it outside. Then the rains came again... this time melting the house. The ants abandoned the house, and now there is now melted candy all over our back porch. Oh well, we have this great picture of it and there is always next year!

Gingerbread House RIP
Poor little gingerbread house. Owen and I spent 2 fun days putting together our gingerbread house kit. He did a great job decorating it with me. Then the rains came again... this time melting the house. The ants abandoned the house, and now there is now melted candy all over our back porch.
